Bruce Bohrmann – Bohrmann Knives Handmade Elm Hunter w/Sheath …
Bruce Bohrmann has been hand making knives since the 1950s. His shop is located in the coastal town of Yarmouth, Maine. Bruce often uses various Stainless Steels, which are properly heat treated and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. He also prefers to use only woods grown in the State of Maine (Walnut burl, Cherry burl, Elm, etc.).
His hand made, pouch-stule leather sheaths are wetted and hand formed to each knife. Bohrmann’s unique design has a “belt strap” sewn diagonally across the back of the sheath so that it can be worn as a cross draw, riding across the front of the hip or worn as a standard sheath at your side.
