Spyderco C106SBK2 Tasman Salt 2

Hawkbill blades are uniquely functional cutting tools because they “capture” the material being cut, drawing it into the concave edge to generate powerful, focusing cutting power. The original Tasman Salt combined this aggressive cutting dynamic with the ultra-corrosion-resistant qualities of nitrogen-based H-1 steel to create a near-perfect tool for cutting netting, line, and other fibrous materials. The Tasman 2 takes another significant step forward with an improved handle design based on the best-selling Delica 4. Injection molded from tough yellow or black FRN, the Tasman 2’s handle features improved ergonomics, a non-slip Bi-Directional Texturing pattern, and a four-position titanium pocket clip. Its handle is still home to a solid back lock mechanism that securely locks the PlainEdge or SpyderEdge blade when in use.

Brand

Spyderco

Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. In 1981, the Glessers put down roots in Golden, Colorado and introduced the first Spyderco folding knife. That knife pioneered the concept of a round hole in the blade for one-handed opening, a clip on the handle for carry at the top of the pocket, and the option of a serrated edge for aggressive cutting performance. Since then, Spyderco has steadily grown to become one of the leaders in the cutlery industry. In addition to a worldwide distribution network and manufacturing resources in the U.S., Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and China. Those Who Know, Carry Spyderco.
