Chicarilli, Rocco - Spanaway, WA

Rocco Chicarilli’s interest in knives started back in the late 1970s when his father brought home a worn and tattered copy of “The Gun Digest Book of Knives”. He purchased a Craftsman grinder in the early 1980s and gave knifemaking a try. Rocco soon realized that knifemaking was a lot more difficult that it looked. He was influenced by knives from Ted Dowell and mentored by the likes of Butch Vallotton and Dan Westlind. He sold his first knife in 1993. Rocco is a retired Manufacturer’s Rep for the apparel industry now making very nice knives from folders to Bowies.
