The late (2002, age 60) Dennis DesJardins was a former president of the Montana Knifemakers Association. He was a master at the forge and created dramatic works that will be passed on to future generations. Mr. DesJardins started making knives in 1983. He loved the fire of the forge and the knives he produced. He was a free spirit and made knives in the tradition of his beloved Montana heritage. His knives are rugged and authentically made using materials found on or near his ranch in Montana. A true Mountain Man that made his sole authorship pieces in the same fashion as the original blacksmiths did back in the day.
